Lucie and Luke Meier staged their final show for Jil Sander on Wednesday after eight years as the label’s creative directors. The Meiers and the OTB-owned label “have mutually decided that this collection would be the last of their collaboration,” according to a brief statement.

Backstage after the show, the husband-and-wife design duo were teary-eyed as they accepted flowers from OTB chairman Renzo Rosso. Their next steps were not announced, nor was their replacement.

The move comes two weeks after former Fendi chief Serge Brunschwig was named CEO of Jil Sander, as well as chief strategy officer of OTB. Last week, the group reported revenues down 4 percent in 2024 after rising sales at Diesel and Margiela failed to offset declines at Jil Sander and Marni.
