PHILADELPHIA, United States — Urban Outfitters Inc. on Monday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $80.3 million.
The Philadelphia-based company said it had profit of 60 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 21 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 57 cents per share.
The clothing and accessories retailer posted revenue of $1.01 billion in the period, which met Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $232.4 million, or $1.68 per share. Revenue was reported as $3.32 billion.
Urban Outfitters shares have climbed 13 percent since the beginning of the year, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index has climbed 1 percent. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $39.57, a climb of slightly more than 5 percent in the last 12 months.
