Ludovic de Saint Sernin will be the next guest designer for Jean Paul Gaultier’s haute couture.

The Paris-based creative director is known for his body-skimming looks, references to queer culture and social-media-friendly styling favoured by Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.

De Saint Sernin most recently showed during New York Fashion Week last February in a bid to refocus the spotlight on his namesake label, founded in 2017, following a short-lived partnership with Claudio Antonioli’s Ann Demeulemeester label in 2022.

Jean Paul Gaultier’s haute couture collection by De Saint Sernin will be shown during the next Paris haute couture week in January.

Gaultier’s guest designer program has become a key moment of the haute couture season by providing a platform for artisanal creation to talents including Glenn Martens, Olivier Rousteing, Haider Ackermann, Simone Rocha and Nicolas di Felice.
