CFDA Announces 2025 Fashion Awards Nominees

Last year’s winner Rachel Scott is up for Womenswear Designer of the Year again, and The Row’s Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, who have won in the womenswear and accessories categories, are nominated for the menswear award.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America has announced nominees and honorees for its 2025 awards, set to take place on Nov. 3.

Nominated for Womenswear Designer of the Year are Daniella Kallmeyer, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, Carolina Herrera’s Wes Gordon and last year’s winner Rachel Scott, the designer of Diotima, who was named creative director of Proenza Schouler in September. Mike Amiri, Eckhaus Latta designers Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta, The Row’s Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Thom Browne and Willy Chavarria (who took home the prize last year) are up for American Menswear Designer of the Year.

The Accessories Designer of the Year nominees are Ana Khouri, Catherine Holstein for Khaite, Raul Lopez for Luar, the Olsens for The Row and Tory Burch.

Taylor Thompson, designer of 5000, Bernard James, Colleen Allen, Ashlyn’s Ashlynn Park and Aubero’s Julian Louie are up for the Google Shopping Emerging Designer of the Year award.

A number of other figures will be honoured with special awards at the ceremony, including Ralph Rucci, Donatella Versace, Pieter Mulier, Sara Moonves, Cynthia Rowley and Andre Walker. Once again, Amazon Fashion is the presenting partner for the CFDA Fashion Awards.
