Unilever announced on Tuesday that it has acquired the refillable personal care brand Wild.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, though a Sky News report in February indicated that the sale would go ahead for £230 million ($286 million).

Wild was launched in 2020 by Charlie Bowes-Lyon and Freddy Ward and makes hand and body washes, lip balms and deodorants with refillable packaging, which are sold in British grocery stores like Tesco, as well as US retailers like Target. The line is also available on Amazon.

In a statement, Bowes-Lyon said the acquisition will allow the brand to further its mission to eliminate single-use plastic.
