Colin Walsh, formerly of Ouai and Procter & Gamble, is the new CEO of Glossier.

Walsh will succeed current CEO Kyle Leahy, who announced in June that she would be leaving the position by the end of 2025.

The company experienced a slew of executive departures in the last year: Glossier’s chief marketing and chief commercial roles remain vacant, as do its creative director and deputy creative director roles.

Walsh brings extensive experience from both the startup and corporate beauty worlds. He served as CEO of Ouai, remaining in the role when the brand was acquired by Procter & Gamble, and later became P&G’s CEO of specialty beauty. He left the position in August 2025. Most recently, he founded digestive supplement brand YayDay in 2024.

Walsh is “looking forward to learning from the team, amplifying the magic that’s already here and working to make Glossier a true legacy brand,” he said in a statement.
