Exclusive: Brita Invests in Shower Filter Firm Hello Klean

The German water filtration firm has acquired a minority stake in Hello Klean, which sells shower heads it claims mitigate the effects of hard water.

Hello Klean, a maker of shower filters, has received a strategic investment from water filtration firm Brita. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the agreement allows Brita to purchase more equity over time; if certain revenue thresholds are met, Brita has the option to acquire Hello Klean in four years.
