Blake Lively is now a beauty brand founder.

On Aug. 4, the Gossip Girl and The Sisterhood of The Travelling Pants star will launch her debut hair care line, Blake Brown, into Target.

The eight-product assortment includes two shampoo and conditioner sets, as well as a range of hair masks.

Lively told Vogue that hair masks have been a staple of her routine, even more so than conditioner, for years, as the styling and colour changes her job as an actress requires had caused her hair to become broken and dry.

“[My hair] was just so damaged and destroyed,” she said.

Lively’s new brand is one of many celebrity-led hair care lines. Beyoncé and Rihanna have both recently debuted hair care products, while more established lines include Tracee Ellis Ross’ Pattern Beauty.
