POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining the communication strategy and initiatives in support of brand objectives. Ensures timely and accurate communication to/from the Boutiques and field leadership team. Areas of focus include store monthly strategy, Boutiques and field leadership communication, store calendars. Ensures brand standards are met, and brand goals and objectives are supported.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implements effective Brand communication strategies to fulfill goals and support business objectives. Establish prioritization of communications by vehicle, content and timing with brand partners.
• Writes & disseminates all Brand communication including in Boutique events, contests, promotions, and recognition as determined for brand.
• Serves as the Brand gatekeeper of all communication managing internal portal to prioritize and organize.
• Manages, creates, and maintains calendars and quarterly documents by brand & channel as needed to support store initiatives and strategy.
• Communicates all field collateral mailings in partnership with NSSC Production Center, mailroom & other cross functional partners.
• Supports Field Organization meetings and summits.
• Ensures timely research of communication or issues for Stores, Field Leadership, and NSSC.
• Liaison between field & NSSC to ensure store perspective is represented in cross functional meetings attended.
• Maintains strong partnerships and collaboration with Store Support Team and Cross-Functional business partners to gather/share information, assist with projects and ensure deadlines are met.
• Travels as needed to support field market training and roll outs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA or BS Degree, English, Communications or similar field strongly preferred
• 5+ years of work experience in a retail communications capacity required
• Store Manager experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in a variety of communication settings and styles
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google tools
• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and InDesign strongly preferred
