about this team

The MP&A Product Management team is focused on improving processes and systems that impact lululemon's merchandising, planning, and allocations teams. We identify key business requirements that support our global MP&A processes ultimately helping lululemon live into our global growth strategies. We provide the business process context necessary to guide technical decision making, while leveraging our connection with the business to enroll stakeholders on key process changes and impacts.

what you'll do

The Senior Product Manager team will be responsible for discovering, defining, & delivering, products that support the MP&A business teams. They will work in close collaboration with key stakeholders from the business and their IT partners to strategize and execute against the strategic goals for lululemon. This means they lead cross-functional teams from a product's conception all the way through to its launch and improvement.

Core Accountabilities:

Strategy

  • Collaborates on creation and execution of a products strategy including developing tactical & strategic roadmaps
  • Prioritizes the roadmap against business objectives and OKRs
  • Internally recognized as a go-to-person for complex technical and business matters.


Complexity & Delivery

  • Responsible for the delivery of small & large features
  • Ensures quality of the product and manages & triages bugs efficiently
  • Anticipates implementation challenges and develops mitigation strategies to minimize risk

  • Contributes independently, resolves complex issues in own specialist area (e.g. cross-functional projects)
  • Works on large, complex activities, using demonstrated creativity and expertise and applying specialist professional knowledge to deliver high quality results and technical solutions


Collaboration & Communication

  • Ability to communicate roadmaps and progress against the roadmap to key stakeholders & IT partners
  • Ability to enroll & communicate business requirements to technical partners
  • Initiates, leads & facilitates business requirements gathering with cross-functional partners
  • Proactively solves potential problems with other functions and avoids unnecessary conflict
  • Contributes actively to build common ground for cooperation


qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology or a related field
  • 5 years work experience in retail, supply chain and/or product management
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and system mapping tools like Visio
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead and influence teams

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from  $123,500 - $162,100 CAD annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
