The Senior Manager, NA Inventory Operations & Logistics will be responsible for designing and executing streamlined processes that optimize inventory flow across the network. This includes driving shipment planning for each of our three fulfillment centers (FCs), analyzing drivers of variances to the shipment plan, partnering with Supply Chain Finance and Fulfillment Center Operations (FC Ops) in planning, monitoring, and optimizing FC storage and throughput capacity over a rolling 12 month horizon, and managing obsolescence and executing end-of-life (EOL) strategies. This role serves as a liaison between Buying, Allocation, Finance, Merchandising, Store & FC Operations, Legal, Sustainability, and the wholesale teams for all aspects of end-of-life management, shipment optimization, and implementing strategies that reduce the cost of suboptimal fulfillment across the network.

This role will report to the Director, NA Inventory Optimization Center of Excellence.


The successful individual will...

  • Lead the Operations & Logistics team, including one Sr. Analyst, to ensure that inventory needs (ie. allocation requirements, store safety stock levels) are properly communicated to the Finance, FC Ops, Store & Ecommerce Operations Teams.
  • Partner with allocators and FC Ops to craft and manage weekly/monthly store shipment plans based on financial targets
  • Model DC capacity and ensure strategies are put in place to support and optimize available storage and throughput capacity
  • Communicate to cross-functional partners and field on product availability, transfers, consolidations and re-ticketing efforts
  • Attend all weekly fulfillment calls & communicate back to the allocation team on key deliverables
  • Execute bi-annual obsolescence reviews to manage and execute product end-of-life exit strategies in partnership with Legal, Coachtopia, Disposition, Reloved, Donations, and FC Ops teams
  • Drive product lifecycle initiatives with BU partners and merchandising
  • Drive initiatives to streamline processes and maintain & improve-upon existing reporting


The accomplished individual will possess...
  • 5+ years of analytical experience, ideally with a focus on allocation and/or merchandise, demand, or inventory planning; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience with both leading a team of direct reports and influencing cross-functional peers
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining inventory planning policies and principles and analyzing and actioning against inventory planning KPIs
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
  • Outstanding organizational, listening, communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively interact with team members and cross-functional and field partners across multiple levels of the business
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, and problem-solving skills to help contribute to team decision making and process improvement
  • Ability to learn systems and new processes quickly; advanced knowledge of Excel; Experience with MicroStrategy, Tableau and SAP a plus. Knowledge of SQL and Alteryx useful but not required.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in response to shifting priorities in an evolving work environment
  • Have a global mindset while understanding and focusing on local needs
  • Possess courage to take ownership of their decisions and guide and push back in a diplomatic manner despite being faced with dissenting points of view

Work Setup: HYBRID

BASE PAY RANGE $125,000.00 TO $140,000.00 Annually
