Overview

We are currently looking for a Transport Operations Control Specialist, who reports to the Worldwide Transport Director.

Your Impact

You will be part of the Transport team, supporting the Worldwide Transport Director in all activities related to the worldwide transportation operations control of finished products, components and materials sustaining the Group Business activities worldwide

  • The Transport Operations Control Specialist oversees and coordinates transportation activities, ensuring efficient end-to-end management of shipments for finished goods, components, and materials. They work closely with freight forwarders, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and define corrective actions when needed.
  • They also manage special projects and non-standard operational tasks, taking part in Business Reviews with logistics partners and internal departments to analyze performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Additionally, they develop and maintain coordination and monitoring tools, facilitate internal meetings, and keep action plans updated with clear timelines and responsibilities.
  • The role also contributes to the definition and implementation of new tools, processes, projects, and SOPs, aiming to improve service quality, reduce costs, enhance sustainability, and simplify and streamline operations.

Qualifications

  • Working experience in a supply chain/logistics environment within a multinational company
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Management Engineering
  • Organized and goal-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible mindset
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in monitoring and analyzing KPIs and implementing corrective actions
  • Knowledge of logistics processes and operational best practices
  • Ability to coordinate and lead special projects and initiatives
  • Experience in facilitating internal meetings and ensuring effective information flow
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining management and coordination tools
  • Capacity to collaborate on the definition, implementation, and management of new tools and processes
  • Analytical skills for performance analysis and identifying optimization opportunities
  • Project management skills, including defining action plans, timelines, and responsibilities
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, cost reduction, and sustainability in transport operations
