who we are
lululemon is an innovative performance apparel company for yoga, running, training, and other athletic pursuits. Setting the bar in technical fabrics and functional design, we create transformational products and experiences that support people in moving, growing, connecting, and being well. We owe our success to our innovative product, emphasis on stores, commitment to our people, and the incredible connections we make in every community we're in. As a company, we focus on creating positive change to build a healthier, thriving future. In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.
about this team:
The lululemon cybersecurity team enables lululemon to conduct its global operations in a secure manner and safeguards the trusted information of its guests and users. This is accomplished by understanding business risk as manifested through cybersecurity and compliance risk, and by maintaining a high degree of employee awareness of all security and compliance topics. To further enhance our team, we are looking for an experienced Technology Manager - Technology Resilience.
This role will work collaboratively with the Cybersecurity team along with technology and business stakeholders to design and implement a technology resilience strategy that aligns with business continuity objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The role is accountable for establishing resilience requirements, validating design decisions, and ensuring effective execution by technology teams. Success in this role will require strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to balance security, reliability, and operational efficiency while enabling the business to operate securely and confidently.
Our team is fast-paced and is driving multiple initiatives to enhance our security posture while supporting a fast-growing business. We strive to adopt leading-edge security solutions and seek continuous improvement in our security controls. We like to have fun and encourage each other to take on new challenges. We support each other in growing professionally and personally, and we create space for team members to share feedback and ideas that can help us continually grow as an organization.
As a Technology Manager, you are a leader responsible for developing and executing strategies that promote the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's technology resilience strategy. This role will work collaboratively with the Enterprise Risk and Technology teams to align business impact analyses, business continuity and disaster recovery plans, incident response coordination, and effective resilience testing across critical systems and services. This is a critical role to mitigate technology risk and ensure compliance with global regulatory frameworks.
You are a leader who is comfortable leading and managing team members with different skill sets and can communicate expectations clearly to all team members. In addition to strong management skills, you act as a leader for the overall roadmap for your team and can communicate timeline, scope and risks to partners and stakeholders, and lead the delivery of major initiatives.
This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs and balance business objectives versus technical constraints. Maturity, curiosity, creative problem solving, and team leadership are all essential for success in this role.
