Position Overview
This position serves as the strategic engine of Global Sourcing and the IBP ecosystem, connecting long-term sourcing strategy, enterprise analytics, and global supply planning into a unified decision platform. The role turns data into insight and insight into measurable outcomes across cost, capacity, speed, and supplier performance, ensuring sourcing priorities, supply strategies, and financial objectives are fully aligned. As a key advisor to Global Sourcing leadership, it drives cross-functional alignment with IBP, Merchandising, Product, Finance, and regional teams to enable smarter, faster, and more integrated enterprise decisions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead the development and execution of long-term sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities and financial objectives.
* Drive transformation initiatives that enhance sourcing agility, speed, cost efficiency, and value creation.
* Monitor global industry trends, supply market dynamics, and cost structures to inform long-term direction.
* Lead a high-performing analytics team to deliver scenario modeling, forecasting insights, risk simulations, and performance diagnostics.
* Build enterprise dashboards, KPIs, and analytics tools that support strategic and operational decision-making.
* Convert complex data into compelling narratives and executive-ready recommendations that influence senior leadership.
* Own supply planning strategy across regions and categories, ensuring cohesive alignment with demand and product plans.
* Partner with the IBP COE to integrate sourcing constraints, supply risks, cost implications, and capacity strategies into enterprise planning cycles.
* Establish early-warning systems to proactively identify and mitigate supply disruptions, lead-time deviations, and cost volatility.
* Partner with sourcing teams to optimize vendor allocation, long-term capacity planning, and supplier capability development.
* Use data-driven insights to improve supplier performance, reduce cost-to-serve, and enhance operational reliability.
* Turn operational variances into strategic actions that improve margin, speed, and inventory performance.
* Lead development of high-impact executive materials including long-term strategies, quarterly business reviews, transformation updates, and sourcing scorecards.
* Ensure clarity, precision, and strategic framing in all communications to senior leadership.
* Build, lead, and inspire a global team across strategy, analytics, and supply planning functions.
* Develop future leaders through coaching, mentorship, and cross-functional exposure.
* Champion belonging, equity, collaboration, and psychological safety across teams.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
* Demonstrated depth of experience in strategy, analytics, or business transformation, ideally within sourcing, supply chain, or consulting environments.
* Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact.
* Strong business acumen with the ability to connect strategic vision to operational execution.
* Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong analytical mindset with experience in advanced analytics, data visualization, and executive reporting.
* Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, navigate ambiguity, and drive change in a global matrixed organization.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, VBA) is a plus.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
