Job Details
Carhartt WIP is part of the WIP Trading AG. Our family-owned business group started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s. Since then, it develops its own collections based on workwear originals.
Carhartt Work In Progress aims to continuously progress and evolve, without ever losing sight of its origins. Over the course of the past three decades, our business has developed organically, along with its customers, the culture that surrounds the brand, and its employees who have helped shape what Carhartt WIP is today.
For our office in Barcelona, we are looking for a HR Coordinator (m/f/x) to cover a maternity leave, overseeing HR activities in Spain and Portugal across Retail, Wholesale, Admin and Showroom populations.
Your Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent
-
Anticipate store needs and deploy recruitment strategies

Coordinate and conduct interviews with managers

Track performance reviews
Employee Relations & Compliance
-
Support managers in disciplinary procedures with guidance, documentation and coordination with external labor advisors

Support compliance with Spanish and Portuguese labor law in collaboration with external advisors

Manage risk prevention, medical check-ups and mandatory trainings

Track local Equality Plan and related HR projects
Payroll & Administration
-
Coordinate monthly payroll in collaboration with external provider

Prepare and track HR documentation (contracts, amendments, probation, temporary staff)

Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (Workday & Registra Entrada)

Manage meal vouchers and other local benefits
Projects

Participate in European HR projects and work closely with the HR HQ
Your Profile
-
Proven experience in a similar HR role, ideally in retail or multi-site environments
-
Degree in Human Resources, Law or Business

Knowledge of Spanish labor law and social relations.

Strong interpersonal skills, pragmatic and solution-oriented

Autonomous, organized and comfortable managing priorities

Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required

Experience with Workday is a plus

Occasional travel within Spain and Portugal to support stores and HR projects
