The project!

As an International Payroll Intern, you will assist in managing payroll and administrative processes across Europe. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate records and resolving payroll queries, gaining hands-on experience with international practices while collaborating closely with regional teams.

What will the role entail?
  • Assist with collecting, calculating, and entering data to support the efficient processing of monthly payroll.
  • Help update HR databases (e.g., contract overview/SAP Success Factors) with starters, leavers, and contractual changes, and assist in issuing related correspondence.
  • Support in gathering and processing inputs such as holidays, overtime, and absences for payroll inclusion.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as Finance, Payroll Providers, and Employees, under guidance.
  • Provide support for payroll enquiries, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Assist in preparing reports for different departments (e.g., Retail management, HR Business Partners).
  • Ensure proper filing and organization of payroll documentation, contractual changes, and personnel-related matters.

Requirements:
  • Language skills: fluency in English is mandatory, additional languages are a plus.
  • Educational background: currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Law, HR or related field.
  • Software: intermediate Excel skills
  • Soft skills: attention to detail, excellent organisation/time management skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Not mandatory but nice to have: previous experience in a HR department
