Job Details
- Communicates with clients, customers, forwarder agents and customs on the status of shipments
- Ensure Company documents are correct in order to meet customs requirements to avoid mistakes and fines
- To work with various departments in the company to ensure shipments flow in/out of the company in an organised and timely manner
- Arranging pickup and delivery. Trace shipment and provide customer/vendor shipment status.
- Monitor and maintain forwarder, broker, carrier’s service performance and corrective actions
- Required to prepare freight cost budget and trend reports for upper management
- Ensures shipments are moved via quoted services. Reviews invoices and issue billing statements as required
- Organise transportation activities, including storage of goods
- Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways
- Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule
- Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low
- Ad hoc project support work related to the Logistics team

Temperley Bridal, which launched in 2006, is defined by ethereal, timeless silhouettes and is inspired by the romance and decadence of a bygone era. Alice was awarded an MBE in 2011 for services to the Fashion Industry; she is a member of the British Fashion Council Advisory Board and is involved with several charitable organisations including actively supporting Women for Women International as an Ambassador.
In July 2023, the brand announced a significant change to the business model, ceasing all promotions to bring it more in-line with its championing of slow fashion, commitment to responsibility and respect for garments. ‘Clothes that transcend seasons, creating moments that become memories.
