Position Overview
The Assistant Merchandiser is responsible for day-to-day merchandise activities to support the category merchants. They are responsible for weekly meeting documentation, system and report creation, and line opening materials/tracking. Merchant teams play a key role in all major events throughout the process (ie. design final, adoptions, line opening & costing).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Create and Maintain assortment data accurately in VIBE/GFE platform, from inception through the life cycle
* Timely communication of Change Controls to cross functional teams and regions
* Work closely with design and fabric teams to ensure ministats are updated accurately and in a timely fashion
* Attend line status meetings, proto and line reviews, managing to changes and next steps
* Attend design meetings for product category
* Ensure accurate sample ordering and sample accuracy for product category
* Assist in meeting preparation and document maintenance for all major milestone meetings

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Some merchandising experience preferred
* Strong communication, interpersonal & teamwork skills
* Contribute to a positive, solution-oriented and progressive work environment promoting teamwork
* Highly organized, detail oriented & accurate
* Strong analytical skills
* Resourceful, efficient and takes initiative
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint #LI-CE1
