Position

JOB TITLE: Temp Staff Accountant

REPORTS TO: Manager, Accounting

JOB PURPOSE:

Provide support in the General and Retail Accounting area as well as assist in the month-end closing process.

Job responsibilities

• Daily tracking and reconciling all retail revenue for 30+ stores.
• Assist stores with Sale and Ecommerce reconciliation process.
• Research outstanding discrepancies in depth to ensure stores are functioning within the internal guidelines.
• Provide weekly discrepancy reports to Operations.
• Confirm payment status in a timely manner.
• Manage acquisition of fixed assets in SAP and related reporting.
• Assist in identification of items for use tax remittance.
• Perform general ledger account analyses.
• Prepare and input journal entries as part of month-end closing process.

Profile

• Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment
• Degree in Accounting preferred
• Prior accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel
• SAP experience a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills
• Team player and detail oriented
• Good time management skills
• Ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines

Additional information

The selected candidate will be offered a base salary within the range of $70k-80k, plus bonus eligibility. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
