Christian Dior G.K. is looking for Retail Event Manager!
Goal of retail event manager is to develop an event strategy as part of the marketing plan aligned with overall objectives
Profile
This position reports to Marketing Senior Manager
Strategic Planning & Analysis:
Analyze client data and market trends to identify opportunities for client development and event optimization. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance client engagement, drive sales, increase brand desirability. Provide regular reports on event ROI and client development progress. Identifying target audiences, setting event goals, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs)
Cultivating Strong Client Connections through Event Engagement: Underscore the importance of fostering robust client relationships through strategic event invitations. Ensure boutiques possess the requisite tools and knowledge to effectively execute and assess clienteling endeavors, guaranteeing that these activities are both pragmatic and strategically harmonized with their overarching objectives
Event Conceptualization & Design:
Together with Paris HQ team, creating innovative event concepts that embody the brand's identity and resonate with the target audience. Modify the event guidelines to align with local cultural practices and fit the local context. Ensure that the core objectives of the event are still met
Collaboration & Partnership:
Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., retail, merchandising, logistic, supply chain) to ensure alignment with overall brand objectives
Budget Management:
Developing and managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining the highest standards of quality
Vendor & Partner Management:
Sourcing, selecting, and managing a network of high-quality vendors, including caterers, decorators, entertainment providers. Building strong relationships with key partners to ensure seamless event execution
Team Management:
Leading and motivating not only an own team but also project members with vendors and partners, delegating tasks effectively, and providing guidance and support. Creating a collaborative and efficient work environment
Logistics & Operations:
Overseeing all logistical aspects of event planning and execution including post-event follow-up. Ensuring flawless execution and anticipating potential challenges

Additional information
Requirements/ Competencies
- Proven experience in event management and client relationship management, preferably within the luxury industry.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management abilities with an excellent sense of detail, and a creative mindset
- A deep understanding of the luxury market and its target audience
- Respect towards boutiques and business partners, customer-oriented mind
- Fluent in both English and Japanese
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work cross-functionally and navigate quickly changing environments
- Interest in fashion, food and beverage, hospitality
