About the Role
In this role you will ensure that Company financial records and statements are accurate and in line with laws, regulations and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). You will work to resolve discrepancies or irregularities by analyzing records, statements, or documented transactions. You will share insights and reports and will communicate with business partners in and outside of Finance. The key area responsible is sourcing business of China.

About the Role
In this role you will ensure that Company financial records and statements are accurate and in line with laws, regulations and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). You will work to resolve discrepancies or irregularities by analyzing records, statements, or documented transactions. You will share insights and reports and will communicate with business partners in and outside of Finance. The key area responsible is sourcing business of China.

- As part of our regional finance team, you will be responsible for managing the accounting books and records of our sourcing operations of China (major book) and supporting Hong Kong other activities.
- Accurately record and report financial transactions, including accounts payable and cash management, for the China business.
- Prepare financial reports and journal entries by analyzing account information.
- Ensure compliance with China accounting standards and internal controls.
- Collaborate effectively with local China teams, cross-functional departments, and regional stakeholders in the US.
- Support the implementation of new accounting policies and process improvements.
- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Participate in projects such as ERP system upgrades, process automation, and other finance initiatives.
- Support regional activities in Hong Kong via projects and assignments.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- CPA or equivalent qualification (part-qualified or fully qualified) is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in a multinational company. Experience with China accounting practices is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, Essbase).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to work across cultures and functions.
- Able to present financial insights and solutions in a logical and business-friendly manner.
