Freelance Tech Pack Designer-Womenswear

Job Overview:
Join the rapidly expanding Global Womenswear Brand, Naked Wardrobe as a talented Freelance Tech Pack Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical specifications for manufacturing.  The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of fashion design and production processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive tech packs that include sketches, specifications, materials, and measurements for various products
• Collaborate closely with designers, product developers, and manufacturers to ensure accurate translation of design concepts into finished products
• Conduct thorough research on materials, trims, and production techniques to support design goals and ensure feasibility
• Review samples and prototypes, providing constructive feedback to enhance quality and adherence to the original design vision
• Maintain organized documentation of all tech packs and revisions to facilitate seamless communication throughout the production process
• Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in tech pack development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
• Proven experience in tech pack creation,  within the apparel industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and or other design software for creating tech packs
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and production processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
