WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Assistant Art Director at our Stockholm HQ, you will play an important role in the Digital Content team behind Acne Studios' online imagery. Working primarily in our studio, you will focus on producing high-quality material for e-commerce, ensuring that every piece aligns with our brand's visual identity. You will work closely with and support the Digital Art Director, collaborating with external photographers, stylists, and creative talents to ensure all imagery reflects the brand's direction. An eye for fashion, attention to detail, and a strong sense of aesthetics are essential for this role. The position reports to the Head of Digital Studio, and you will be based at Acne Studios' Head Office in Stockholm.

You will play a vital role in this by:
  • Assist Art Director and collaborate with rest of the external creative talents
  • Inspire and collaborate with the internal teams such as producers, designers and retouchers
  • Concept development research
  • Curate and edit images
  • Art direction of smaller productions
  • Direct teams during shoots
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise and work through until they are resolved

Specific personal qualities for this role:
  • Proven ability to oversee and guide photography projects, ensuring creative vision and technical excellence align with brand standards
  • Demonstrates a deep passion for high fashion and strong knowledge of apparel, contributing to visually compelling and trend-relevant imagery
  • Manages complex workflows with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring smooth execution of multiple tasks and projects
  • Thrives in high-pressure situations, successfully juggling competing priorities and delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines

    Specific experience and knowledge for this role:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
    • Knowledge of Adobe programs and CaptureOne
    • Strong knowledge of digital file formats, layout, color and graphic design skills
    • Fluent in English, written and spoken
