Job Details
Merlette New York, a Brooklyn-based luxury womenswear RTW brand is looking for a talented and motivated Digital Coordinator to support online sales, marketing and social media. This is an exciting opportunity with a fast-growing luxury fashion business.
This role is perfect for an ambitious, self-starter, that will have an opportunity to work in a small team. This position offers room for growth into complete management of the channels they will start with supporting.
The Digital Coordinator will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing.
Responsibilities
E-commerce
- Responsible for all aspects of customer experience on merlettenyc.com including customer service, returns, and online order fulfillment via 3rd party warehouse
- Support with new collection launches; including product creation, collection merchandising, and regular updates to the site
- Support creative productions seasonally- film, e-commerce photoshoots
- Preparation of weekly and monthly selling reports
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accuracy between the 3rd party warehouse and Apparel Magic by performing regular audits.
- Collaborate with the creative and sales teams based on the set marketing calendar and regularly keep the website updated and ensure an optimized user experience
- Identify trends and insights of customer behavior and share with the Executive team providing suggestions and feedback with actions to increase conversions and optimize the user experience.
Marketing and Social Media:
- Appreciation and understanding of the Merlette brand and its aesthetic and sensibility
- Work hand in hand with the creative team on the direction of marketing content and email strategy
- Work directly with and assist the digital team on advertising, affiliate, experiential marketing, partnerships, influencer channels, web updates, email marketing
- Work directly with PR and our sample trafficking app on shipping, tracking of samples and gifts
- Plan the social media grid and stories on bi-weekly basis and write compelling captions
- Proactively engage with the Merlette Instagram community on a daily basis
The ideal candidate has:
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce and/or social media
- Accuracy and speed is key for this position
- Understanding of the luxury fashion market
- Must have an impeccable eye and ability to learn the aesthetic sensibility of the brand
- Self-starter, team player, motivated and entrepreneurial
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Associates degree or higher in a related field
- A creative thinker who is highly organized, detail-oriented, focused on the ability to balance initiatives with competing priorities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of the evolving digital media landscape
- Ability to multi-task with a positive attitude
- Focus on customer experience and process improvement
- Experience is required with Shopify, Klaviyo, or similar ESP programs, Facebook and Instagram ads, Adobe Photoshop or Canva, Planoly, or a similar social media planning application.
- Experience with the following platform is a plus; Google Analytics, Apparel Magic, Google Ads, Rakuten, Joor or NuOrder
