Title: Senior Manager, Global Procurement Operations
Location: New York City

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to drive the Buying & Invoicing and Supplier Management processes and technology for non-merchandise procurement at Tapestry.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Procurement, Customer Support and Issue Resolution to:

- Perform in the role of Buying & Invoicing and Supplier Management Program Lead by:
- Developing and executing a strategic vision for Buying & Invoicing, Supplier Creation, and electronic supplier enablement platforms.
- Growing a strategy for Ariba Catalogs, as well as Guided Buying, with an emphasis on capturing tail spend.
- Translating user requests/requirements into solutions, and partnering with internal IT where integration or backend upgrades are required.
- Guiding the performance, development, and quality of a small international support team.
- Monitoring data import results, tracking ongoing system issues, and owning a release readiness program to prepare for SAP Ariba service packs and new system features.
- Articulating system functionality on behalf of Procurement in meetings with internal business partners/customers.
- Owning and performing SOX controls and their walkthroughs, as well as all relevant internal audit activities.
- Driving the expansion and continued success of the Centralized Procurement program through cross-brand consolidation of cost, invoice volume, vendors, and purchasing workload.
- Provide outstanding customer support and customer communications through:
- Reviewing and refreshing training material and reference guides on a regular cadence, and delivering training to global audiences at all levels of the company.
- Leading the Key User program to empower stakeholders and their teams across functional areas and geographies.
- Serving as a point of escalation among senior leadership, the support team, and other business stakeholders on impactful issues.
- Meeting regularly with functional partners in the Accounts Payable, Enterprise Information Management, IT, and Tax teams to keep abreast of current issues and upcoming projects.
- Assist ongoing process management and process improvement within SAP Ariba by:
- Regularly reporting on usage of Buying & Invoicing, Supplier Creation, and Supplier Enablement tools and guiding the implementation of plans for improving tool usage/value.
- Identifying and providing strategic guidance on optimization projects, including those that work towards Global Procurement annual team goals.

- Contribute to the Global Procurement Center of Excellence by:
- Reviewing and approving the entry of savings projects in Zycus platform, across all regions and Tapestry's six main indirect Procurement categories.
- Organizing and facilitating Procurement pipeline review sessions and quarterly QO, LRP and AOP planning sessions with Finance and Procurement leadership.
- Maintaining the Center of Excellence calendar in partnership with Finance leadership.

The accomplished individual will possess...
- B.S. / B.A. degree in Business or Technology (or other related degree programs)
- 3-5 years of experience with Procurement technologies and related ERP integration preferred
- Preferred to have understanding of leading P2P technology practices and trends; General experience of system administration
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience
- Customer support mentality and experience, whether internally- or externally-facing, including an ability to prevent escalations
- Experience with global collaboration and good teamwork skills to work with other Company departments to plan and execute enhancements to the above technologies
- Strong facilitation skills to communicate and educate stakeholders across the Company
- Strong demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with process, quality control, and workflow management preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word
