Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Trading Manager to join our team and support our ongoing transformation to a digital first business.

The Role:

Working alongside the Head of Ecommerce you will be responsible for trading the website, ensuring the site is optimised to drive forward conversion & ATV to maximise revenue.

The Person:

You will have a solid background in an ecommerce trading role with a proven track record of delivering growth and site optimisation for creative, design led, retail brands. You will thrive in an exceptionally fast paced environment and be able to handle the pressure of a steadily evolving business whilst always exuding warmth, energy, and enthusiasm and a clear understanding of the Cath Kidston brand.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering against the ecommerce KPI forecast. Working to optimise the site conversion and ATV to deliver revenue growth.
  • Leading the product merchandising strategy, You will work alongside the B&M & Marketing teams to continually optimise product and category trading
  • Owning & developing a strong and robust trading calendar working to align both product and content presentation
  • Helping to shape and delivery the strategic ecommerce plans alongside the hands on trading of the website
  • Working to optimise systems and working alongside IT to streamline and optimise processes to drive efficiency
  • Using web analytics to drive forward forecasting & KPI optimisation
  • Working with the creative teams to move forward the product presentation to drive conversion and optimise story telling
  • Supporting the marketing teams with product and category level decision making to ensure communication is align with trading patterns
  • Managing & optimising on site merchandising tools to understand buying behaviour and ensure it is perfectly reflected on category pages
  • Continually optimising site search to ensure visitors are presented with accurate and optimal results
  • Managing & developing ecommerce administrator 

Skills and experience:

  • Several years’ experience gained working as part of a high performing digital retail team
  • A proven track record for delivering commercial targets and LFL growth
  • Able to react commercially to changing trading conditions
  • Inspiring and infectious leadership style for those you manage and work closely with
  • The ability win friends and influence people across the wider business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive, hardworking and a great team player
