Main duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Directs and oversees the organizations sales strategies, processes, initiatives, and policies
  • Contributes to the cultivation of new accounts and opportunities 
  • Identifies and drives strategy to penetrate new markets
  • Identifies and drives strategy to maximize and monitor sell-out
  • Drives sales goals for each specific regional account
  • Managing international agencies
  • Establish relationships with key clients, agencies, franchisees, and distributors in all territories
  • Stays current with international industrial and cultural variances pertaining to wholesale sales
  • Through a strong understanding of internal and external perspectives, he/she is able to build and form the wholesale strategy of the brand
  • Provides objective and target to the sales team 
  • Reports to top management on global business status and trends
  • Responsible for ensuring the wholesale department’s operational excellence and maintain the reputation of the company/brand
  • In cooperation with other department heads, he/she is responsible for brand developments and farming global product/channel strategies in line with group and company level objectives
  • Through a strong relationship with key decision-makers (Buying Directors / DMMs / GMMs) on the customer side, he/she can influence and support the sales strategy’s execution for the group’s brands
  • Assigns sales budgets to individual sales team members 
  • Projects sales in line with economical and territorial specifications in-line with the merchandising strategy and the channel’s budget plan 
  • Analyze and identify areas for improvement and detects opportunities
  • Supervises the maintenance of the sales funnel and ensures reporting mechanism in order to strengthen business awareness and intelligence
  • Manages departmental budget and owns the wholesale P&L
  • Responsible for departmental hiring plan and to maintain and train in employees in all distribution channels
  • Takes an active part in volume negotiations and key account partnership discussions
  • Provides valuable information for business planning and sales channel allocations
  • A diplomat who represents the group in related high-level conversations and advocates for the interest of the group and its brands

The ideal candidate will have the following skillset and experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar, international WHS Director role
  • Hands-on experience with complex project management
  • Experience working in a multi-brand showroom environment is an advantage
  • Visionary approach and mindset regarding future growth plans
  • Strategic thinking, strong business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills, self-starter, results-oriented team player, with the highest level of integrity
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Fluency in written and spoken English other languages an advantage
  • The vacancy is located in London or Milan, therefore relocation is necessary
