Job Details
The Social Media Coordinator at Dr. Barbara Sturm is responsible for helping to grow and run the brand’s social media presence, supporting business growth and sales, ongoing brand positioning and reputation management.
This role will sit at the intersection of the marketing and brand teams to manage and deliver:
- Global social media execution for the brand with additional support for our retail partners
- Tightly managed day-to-day social publishing schedule
- Community management
The candidate must be self-motivated and experienced in managing social platforms with real-time decision making in execution. A deep understanding of the global digital landscape is key, as well as an appetite for keeping abreast of changing trends, technologies and platform developments. In addition, the candidate will have good working relationships and connectivity with all key social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube.
Reporting to: Marketing Director with a dotted line into the Brand Director
Role Type: Permanent
Location: Based in London, may involve travel at key points throughout the year
Day to day Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the social media content calendar on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Strategic focus of reaching new audiences, increasing engagement and commercial success underpin thinking.
- Execution of content marketing, influencer strategy and social storytelling tailored to each platform and reaching target audiences in a creative, relevant way.
- Working in tandem with brand retail partners in innovative ways to grow business is a key measure of success.
- Close partnership with the communications team to deliver uniform messaging/reputation management.
- Monitor user-generated content and trends in social media tools and applications.
- Weekly reporting and statistics of social accounts, including social analytics overview and recommendations.
- Keep up to date with growing trends and opportunities in the tech sector.
Requirements:
- Digital, social media and online communications experience working in-house or agency side in the beauty and skincare industries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with platforms for scheduling, reporting, publishing and analyzing social media (Dash Hudson, Sprout Social, Tribe Dynamics, Google Analytics etc.)
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial approach and creative thinker
- Used to working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Discreet, diplomatic and ability to liaise at all levels
