The Legal, Ethics & Compliance Team at Farfetch is growing in order to support our next phase of ambitious plans. Reporting directly to the Legal Counsel, Compliance you will enjoy a highly visible and exciting role within a growing and dynamic team.
This is an ideal role for a Paralegal or Compliance Specialist with excellent ethics and compliance experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be excited about the opportunity to work with colleagues around the world and be driven to help execute the vision of Compliance leaders at Farfetch to develop a world class program that is true to the Farfetch values. This is a role with great potential for the right candidate to elevate their level of experience, responsibility and quickly add value to the Farfetch Ethics and Compliance Program.
What You'll Do
- You will play a central role in the development and growth of the company Ethics and Compliance program, assisting with creation, oversight and implementation of internal and external policies, procedures, programs and systems
- You will manage Farfetch's compliance software
- You will project manage the development, management and implementation of Farfetch's ethics and compliance policies, procedures, programs and systems, with accountability for and meeting deadlines
- You will perform compliance testing and reporting
- You will support ethics and compliance risk assessments and effectiveness audits
- You will assist with regulatory filings and prepare standard responses to regulatory inquiries across various jurisdictions
- You will manage the compliance mailbox and respond to requests relating to conflicts of interest, gifts, and any other clearances requested by Farfetchers
- You will manage ethics and compliance records, including insider lists and outside interest registers
- You will support the Global Compliance Counsel in developing an effective and engaging training and communication program, including e-learnings, onboarding materials, roll-out communications and a regular cadence of company-wide compliance & ethics updates
- You will monitor legal and regulatory trends and compliance & ethics program best practices and work with Global Compliance Counsel to align Farfetch's compliance & ethics program accordingly
- You will provide administrative support and assist with special projects, as required
- You will constantly look for ways to improve the compliance & ethics initiatives at Farfetch
Who You Are
- You have 2+ years of experience as a compliance and ethics analyst, corporate paralegal, or other position with direct compliance and ethics responsibilities
- You have experience managing and working with compliance and ethics software
- You have a high attention-to-detail with the ability to work independently while balancing multiple projects
- You possess a positive and approachable demeanor and enjoy collaborating with others
- You have superior organizational skills
- You love the challenge of identifying and driving process improvement
- You are a team player who is forward thinking, innovative and agile, with commercial acumen
- You are motivated by the opportunity to help others
- You have impeccable judgement and unimpeachable integrity
- Public company experience is a plus but not a requirement
- NY certified notary is a plus but not a requirement
