LONDON, United Kingdom — Our Monday Mantra contains curated career advice from leading executives, entrepreneurs and creatives in conversation with BoF. Today's mantra comes from Justin O'Shea, buying director of MyTheresa.com (read the full interview here):

I don't think going to college or to school is important, you don't need to have a background knowledge about everything to be good at an industry that is based on taste. I flew from country to country trying to find out what I wanted to do, working in stores and showrooms just so I could prove to people that I really wanted to be in this industry. You just need to work hard and people will reward you.

This week, we are pleased to introduce three new partners to BoF Careers.

Scottish designer Jonathan Saunders founded his namesake label in 2002 upon graduating from Central Saint Martins. With a reputation for using silk screen techniques to develop rich textures and prints, the company is now hiring a head of production, based in London.

Nicopanda, the fashion and lifestyle brand developed by creative director Nicola Formichetti, launched in 2011 through a pop-up store in New York, but has since secured global retailers including Lane Crawford, Opening Ceremony and Maria Luisa at Printemps. The brand is looking for a production manager and wholesale assistant to join the team in Manhattan.
