Power Moves | WME IMG Names Co-Presidents, David Schulte Joins The Row

This week, WME IMG appointed Mark Shapiro and Ioris Francini as co-presidents of the company, and David Schulte has been named president at the Row.

LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

WME IMG Names Co-Presidents
WME IMG has announced that Mark Shapiro and Ioris Francini will become co-presidents of the company. Shapiro previously served as chief content officer and Francini was most recently president of IMG Media. Shapiro will continue to operate from New York; Francini in London.

The Row Appoints President
David Schulte has been named president at The Row, effective immediately. Schulte hails from Luxxotica Group-owned Oliver Peoples, where he has served as president and chief executive officer since 2006.

Farfetch Appoints Chief Strategy Officer
Farfetch has appointed Stephanie Phair to the newly created role of chief strategy officer, effective immediately. Phair, who previously held the role of president at TheOutnet.com and was part of the executive team at the Net-a-Porter Group from 2009 to 2015, will sit on Farfetch's executive board.

Montblanc Hires CEO
The Nominations Committee and Board of Compagnie Financière Richemont SA has promoted Nicolas Baretzki to chief executive officer of Montblanc International, effective on April 1, 2017. Baretzki started his career at Cartier, before moving to Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2002. He joined Montblanc in 2013 as executive vice president of sales.

Teen Vogue Promotes Amy Oelkers
Amy Oelkers has been promoted from executive head of digital sales at Teen Vogue to head of revenue. Oelkers, who has also worked as associate publisher of Condé Nast's Self, will report to Jim Norton, chief business officer and president of revenue for Condé Nast.

Safilo Promotes Frederic Laffort
Safilo Group has promoted Frederic Laffort to head of northern region and global key accounts. Laffort joined the company in 2014 as director distributor operations Asia Pacific. Most recently, he was UK and Ireland country manager and head of global department store channel in 2015.
