Stella McCartney names CEO

Stella McCartney has found a new chief executive in Gabriele Maggio, the former general manager of Moschino. The appointment is effective October 21, 2019 and Maggio replaces Frederick Lukoff, who left the company to become chief executive of Scotch & Soda. 

Target names CFO, loses chief merchandising officer

Target has named Michael Fiddelke executive vice president and chief financial officer, replacing Cathy Smith, who had mentioned stepping down earlier this year. Fiddelke has been with Target for over 15 years, most recently serving as senior vice president of operations. 
The retailer also announced that Chief Merchandising Officer Mark Tritton will be stepping down to become chief executive of Bed Bath & Beyond. Target general merchandising managers Christina Hennington and Jill Sando will assume Tritton’s role on an interim basis. 

Missoni appoints CEO of US division

ADVERTISEMENT

Antonio Moltoni has been tapped to lead Missoni USA in the newly created role of chief executive, effective immediately. Moltoni joins the company from Gucci, where he was director of wholesale for North America. 

Dazed announces executive fashion director

Dazed Media has added Robbie Spencer to Dazed's roll call of executive fashion directors, effective November 21, 2019. Spencer, who has been with Dazed since 2004, stepped back from creative director and fashion director of the publication. 

GQ taps deputy fashion director from Elle.com

Nikki Ogunnaike, formerly style director of Elle.com, has joined GQ as deputy fashion director with immediate effect. She replaces Matt Sebra and reports to GQ Fashion Director Mobolaji Dawodu. 

Afterpay adds former Reebok, Modcloth executives to advisory board

Fintech company Afterpay has made a number of additions to its new US advisory board, including former US Treasury Secretary Lawrence H. Summers, former Reebok Chief Executive Uli Becker, and former Modcloth Chief Executive and President Matthew A. Kaness.
