Missoni names first CEO

Missoni has appointed Livio Proli, formerly managing director of Giorgio Armani Group, to chief executive. This is the first time Missoni has had a CEO, though General Director Emilio Carbonera Giani recently departed the company.

Condé Nast hires first global comms lead

Danielle Carrig is joining Condé Nast as the publisher’s first ever global chief communications officer, effective May 26. Carrig joins Condé Nast from Vice Media Group, where she also held the role of global chief communications officer. 

Victoria’s Secret appoints interim CEO

Following the cancellation of the Sycamore Partners acquisition of Victoria’s Secret, parent company L Brands has named Chief Financial Officer Stuart Burgdoerfer interim chief executive of the troubled lingerie brand. 

Boohoo board appointment blocked by JD Sports

British sportswear retailer JD Sports has withdrawn its consent for non-executive director Kath Smith to also join the board of fast-fashion online player Boohoo. 

Perfect Moment taps YNAP e-commerce lead for managing director

Skiwear brand Perfect Moment has appointed Negin Yeganegy to group managing director. Yeganegy joins the company from the Yoox Net-a-Porter Group, where she was global group e-commerce director.
