Salvatore Ferragamo Hires Paul Andrew
Salvatore Ferragamo has appointed CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Paul Andrew as women's footwear design director, effective immediately. Andrew is set to show his first collection for Ferragamo next year and will continue to design for his eponymous brand.

Joanna Coles Promoted at Hearst
Hearst Magazines has appointed Joanna Coles chief content officer, a new role at the company, effective immediately. Since 2012, Coles has been editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, which is published by Hearst, as well as editorial director of Seventeen since 2014.

Cosmopolitan Names Editor-In-Chief
Michele Promaulayko has been named editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan and editorial director of Seventeen, succeeding Joanna Coles. Previously, Promaulayko was editor-in-chief of Yahoo Health. She was executive editor of Cosmopolitan from 2000 to 2008.

Hugo Boss Americas CEO and President Resigns
After a 15-year tenure, Gerrit Ruetzel, president and chief executive officer at Hugo Boss Americas, is stepping down to seek new opportunities, effective September 30. Ruetzel is succeeded by Anthony Lucia, who brings over 25 years of retail experience and worked for Hugo Boss from 1998 to 2008.

Canada Goose Executive Appointments
Canada Goose has appointed a slew of executives, including Lee Turlington as chief product officer, Jackie Poriadjian-Asch as chief marketing officer and Scott Cameron as executive vice-president of e-commerce, stores and strategy. Kevin Spreekmeester, who recently served as chief marketing officer, has been hired as chief brand officer.

Shoptalk Hires Chief Retail Strategist
Retail industry event Shoptalk has appointed Sucharita Mulpuru as chief retail strategist. Prior to joining Shoptalk, Mulpuru was principal analyst at Forrester Research.
