Estée Lauder Companies announces global brand president promotions. The prestige beauty company announced on Thursday that Michelle Freyre has been promoted to global brand president of Clinique and Glenn Evans to the role of global brand president of Smashbox and Glamglow. Both will continue to report to John Demsey, executive group president at The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC).
Tiffany hires Cartier’s creative director. Nathalie Verdeille joins the LVMH-owned American jewellery giant after over a decade at the French jeweller, according to WWD. She already worked with LVMH while leading high jewellery design at Chaumet from November 2001 to March 2005. Verdeille will report to Alexandre Arnault, Tiffany’s executive vice president of product and communications.
Pandora hires Tiffany executive to head North America. The jeweller said Tuesday it appointed Luciano Rodembusch, who previously served as senior vice president for the Americas at Tiffany & Co., to lead its business in the region. The executive will start in the new role on August 2 and report to Pandora’s chief commercial officer, Martino Pessina. He replaces Sid Keswani, who stepped down in April.
Moda Operandi bulks up its leadership team. Dermott Sullivan and Don Allen will both join the e-commerce platform in the newly created roles of chief operating officer and chief information officer, respectively, while Mark McClendon was named senior vice president of global marketing sales.
Ami, Salvatore Ferragamo jump on the K-Pop ambassador bandwagon. Parisian brand Ami named K-pop septet Enhypen its first global ambassadors, The Korea Herald reports, while the Italian luxury player has tapped Korean singer and dancer Seulgi.
