Cosmopolitan taps beauty director from Essence
Cosmopolitan has appointed Julee Wilson beauty director, effective April 1. Wilson joins the magazine from Essence, where she was global beauty director. She reports to Cosmopolitan Editor-in-Chief Jessica Pels in her new role.
Ted Baker names permanent CEO
Ted Baker has
appointed Rachel Osborne chief executive. Osborne, who joined the ailing retailer in November 2019 as chief financial officer, succeeds Lindsay Page, who stepped down in December after a series of profit warnings.
Essilor CEO to retire
EssilorLuxottica, the company behind Ray-Ban and a number of luxury eyewear lines, announced Laurent Vacherot is stepping down as chief executive of Essilor to retire with immediate effect. He is replaced by Paul du Saillant, previously deputy chief executive of Essilor.
New Look adds to board of directors
Stuard MacKenzie, chief executive of Ethos Private Equity, has joined the board of New Look as a non-executive director effective March 24. The appointment comes after John Gnodde, chief executive of New Look investor Brait South Africa, stepped down from the board on March 1.
VF Corp names president of Eastpak
VF Corporation has appointed Nina Flood Eastpak president, effective April 1. Flood will will report to Martino Scabbia Guerrini, executive vice president and group president, EMEA. She joins the brand from VF stablemate Kipling, where she also served as president.
