Barneys Appoints Creative Director, Adidas Names CFO

This week, Barneys has promoted Matthew Mazzucca to creative director, replacing industry veteran Dennis Freedman, and Adidas is set to appoint Harm Ohlmeyer as chief financial officer in May.

Barneys Appoints Creative Director
Barneys New York has promoted Matthew Mazzucca to creative director, replacing industry veteran Dennis Freedman, who left the company last month. Mazzucca joined Barneys in 2011 as director of design before being promoted to vice president of visuals.

Harm Ohlmeyer to be Named Adidas CFO
Adidas is set to appoint Harm Ohlmeyer as chief financial officer, succeeding Robin Stalker. Ohlmeyer, who starts his role on May 12, joined the company in 1998 and has held various senior positions within Adidas Group's financial department, including chief financial officer for TaylorMade-Adidas Golf, chief financial officer for brand Adidas, as well as senior vice president of finance for global sales.

Emanuel Ungaro Hires Creative Director
Emanuel Ungaro has named Marco Colagrossi as creative director for its women's ready-to-wear collection, replacing Fausto Puglisi. Colagrossi, who previously held senior positions at Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana, will show his first collection for the house in June.

Harper's Bazaar Names Executive Editor
Harper's Bazaar US has hired Christopher Tennant as executive editor, effective March 13. Tennant, who will be reporting directly to Bazaar editor-in-chief Glenda Bailey, joins from Man of the World Magazine, where he was editor-in-chief and creative director.

Aldo Group Hires CEO
David Bensadoun, the eldest son of Aldo's founder, has been appointed chief executive officer, effective April 3. Bensadoun joined the company in 1995 as a project manager and rose through the ranks. Most recently, he was president of Aldo group North America.

Black Frame Appoints Managing Director
Jennifer Jacobs has joined Black Frame as managing director. Before joining Black Frame, Jacobs joined Pat McGrath to develop the Pat McGrath Labs cosmetics brand. Before that, she spent time at 2x4 and 19 years at Baron & Baron, where she held various creative production and management roles.
