Looking Back... and Ahead to 2015

Last year was a defining year in our ongoing mission to open, inform and connect the global fashion industry. Now, we are looking forward to 2015 and growing the BoF team further.

LONDON, United Kingdom — Towards the end of 2014, just before we went home to be with our families in Canada, Mexico, Lebanon, China, the USA and beyond, the BoF team came together to reflect on the year gone by.

And, what a year it was!

As always, we were proud to bring you in-depth, inspirational and analytical content that goes beyond simple news reporting and fashion show coverage to offer much needed clarity and insight into an industry in constant flux. But millions of new readers also discovered BoF in 2014, many of whom were drawn in by several new extensions to our presence, which have helped us deliver on our core mission: to open, inform and connect the global fashion industry.

BoF Careers, which launched in late April, has now processed more than 10,000 applications for more than 1000 jobs in 25 countries around the world. In June, together with the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and Pitti Immagine, we unveiled a content hub dedicated to the rising menswear market and recognised 30 leading menswear retailers from around the world. BoF China, our first foreign-language edition, was unveiled in late November and has already percolated amongst the country's top influencers, who are sharing it with their friends and colleagues. And throughout the year, we hosted events to meet with the BoF community in New York, Toronto, London, Shanghai, New Delhi and Florence.

When you see something special happening here on BoF, it really all comes down to our talented team. Indeed, it is the quality and commitment of the BoF team — both here in London, but also by extension through our contributors from around the world — that has been the key to our growth and development.

2015 is shaping up to be an even busier, bigger and better year for BoF and to accomplish our goals we are now hiring for roles across editorial, technology, sales and business operations to further grow our team in London. If you think you have something special to offer to BoF and you share in our passion for impacting and evolving the global fashion industry, please visit our Careers page to learn more about the opportunities available. I would love to hear from you.

And, as we look at the year to come, I want to thank all of you for your ongoing support, encouragement and feedback. I meet some of you on subway trains and in yoga classes, in shopping malls and on the street. And each time I hear how BoF has impacted you personally and professionally, it motivates me and our team to continue to work to better serve you and grow BoF further.

We've been taking some time off over the holidays, but BoF will be back, along with our Daily Digest newsletter on January 5th, 2015. In the meantime, your ideas and feedback are always welcome: editor@businessoffashion.com.

Happy New Year!
