"The New York-based shoe start-up has patented a technology that uses 3-D measuring tools to capture the biomechanics of a foot, all from an iPhone's camera. The result is what True Gault calls a 'bespoke pair of heels,' in a personal fit, and priced at $250 to $350 per pair."

"The convenience store, powered by WeChat, requires no checkout, no cash and no salespeople. Customers scan QR codes to enter the store and select products, and then pay using their mobile WeChat wallets. Sensors on the shelves detect the removal of items."

"Big-name fashion brands are getting a piece of the space-fashion pie. Reebok recently unveiled its Space Boot SB-01, which it says is the first update of space boots in 50 years. The boots were 'exclusively designed to accompany the final space suit that will shuttle astronauts to and from the International Space Station in Boeing's new vessel, the CST-100 Starliner,' the company said."
