Agenda-setting intelligence, analysis and advice for the global fashion community.
LONDON, United Kingdom -- We've had a lot on our plates here at the BoF offices. The week began with a bang: the launch of our new website, which employs the principles of responsive design, and the announcement of our seed investment, led by Index Ventures. We published a letter explaining these moves and our vision for the future to the BoF community. And as our news spread, the community responded with great enthusiasm! Going forward, we will take an iterative approach to the website, improving the user experience as we go, so please send us your feedback.
In terms of content, we sat down with Lucy Yeomans to discuss her transition from Harper's Bazaar (UK) to digital dynamo Net-a-Porter, where she is now editor-in-chief, and her vision for the future of editorial. Following a late-night chat with Ingvar Helgason at a dinner party, we seized on the opportunity to tell the inspiring story of Ostwald Helgason's journey from false starts to a prominent position on the global fashion radar. We also broke down the fashion blogosphere's reaction to Suzy Menkes' much-discussed 'Fashion Circus' piece -- and got to know one of its leading lights, the inimitable Ms Garance Doré.

Enjoy the weekend, and our new BoF website.
