LONDON, United Kingdom — As we begin 2018, and as part of a longstanding tradition here at BoF, we are asking for your help. Please fill out our community survey to help us understand you better, and to give us your feedback, thoughts and suggestions on how we can continue to improve and develop BoF in the future.

Our first community survey took place way back in November 2007 and provided some fascinating insights about our budding community, which, looking back, really foreshadowed the global BoF community of today — even though there were only 65 responses!

Here are the highlights from last year's survey results:

The BoF community is loyal and engaged

The majority of you visit BoF daily, and over 95 percent of you don’t go a week without reading a BoF article. This level of engagement is what makes our community so special.

You represent all facets of the fashion industry — and beyond

We are proud to continuously attract key decision makers, leading creatives, as well as young fashion industry talent to our community. We also aim to open the industry up to those on the outside, eager to learn about fashion or join in. Last year, 11 percent of the respondents were working outside of the fashion industry, and 14 percent were students.

The next generation is eager and ready to learn

Eighteen percent of last year’s respondents were in their early career stages. We want to make sure that the next generation find the knowledge, mentorship and insight needed to understand the industry.

Last year many of you requested tips for job applications and how to get your start in the industry, and so we launched our How I Broke Into Fashion series, offering a first-hand account of how top fashion professionals built their careers across the industry, tracing their path to success.

In response to your requests for more online courses we also launched a new online course: Fashion Styling and Image Making, with one of the most renowned stylists in the world, Lucinda Chambers.

If there is a specific course you would like to learn about with BoF in future, you can let us know here.

BoF Professional members find our service invaluable

In October 2016 we took the next step in our journey as a business, and launched BoF Professional — offering members exclusive deep-dive analysis, market intelligence and a comprehensive insight into the fashion industry worldwide, as well as unlimited access to all BoF content. Over half of respondents to last year's survey were BoF Professional members and their feedback was resoundingly positive. It has now been more than a year since we launched and we would like to again ask you what we can do to continue improving BoF Professional membership for you in future.

Your feedback and suggestions shape our decisions, and the community survey provides insightful ideas and meaningful criticism. As a gesture of gratitude, those who fill out the survey will have a chance to win one of three available gift cards from Farfetch.

Thank you for your on-going support. You can fill out the survey here.
