Stella & Dot: Retro Retailing Gets a Re-Vamp

"In the same vein as Avon ladies, a large percentage of Stella & Dot's sales are made at trunk shows through home-based 'stylists'. Each stylist initially invests in a £169 starter kit - "the same price as a pair of premium denim jeans" - which contains £300 worth of jewellery and a free, 60-day trial personalised micro-site on Stella & Dot's online store."
