Matthew Starker has joined Spring as president, media and original content. Formerly general manager, digital at Condé Nast, Starker will be responsible for launching and overseeing all elements of a new editorial media division for the company.
Balenciaga names head of communications, Americas
Kering-owned Balenciaga has tapped Daniel Motta Mello to head up brand PR and communications in the Americas. He joins the luxury brand from Karla Otto, where he served as vice president, and has also held senior roles at Proenza Schouler and Christian Dior Couture.
Bloglovin' names CEO to spearhead company rebrand
Bloglovin' vice president of strategy and business development Kamiu Lee has been promoted to chief executive as it launches a full-scale rebrand, which includes being renamed to become Activate. The company, now an influencer marketing agency, has also announced the launch of Activate Studio, an influencer management suite.

Elle Men China appoints editorial director
Assange Zhou has been named editorial director of Elle Men China. A Chinese media veteran, Zhou joined Hearst Media China as editor-in-chief of new media in April last year; he succeeds Li Baojian who stepped down for personal reasons.
