LONDON, United Kingdom — BoF compiles the most important professional moves of the week.

Michael and Nicole Colovos Depart Helmut Lang
Michael and Nicole Colovos' latest collection for Helmut Lang will be their last. The husband-and-wife team, who have led the label's design studio for eight years, wrote in a statement, "We will always have a deep affection for the brand," while Andrew Rosen, chief executive of Helmut Lang and Theory, thanked the couple for their commitment to the company. No immediate successor was named and Helmut Lang's next collection, for pre-Spring, will be designed by the company's existing design team.

Bally Appoints Pablo Coppola as Creative Director
Swiss luxury house Bally appointed Pablo Coppola to its chief design job on Monday. Coppola told press his first ready-to-wear collection for the brand, unveiled at Milan Fashion Week, was "an essential wardrobe, basics with a chic touch that have been built on the notion of soft luxury and real people. It's timeless rather than trendy." The designer previously worked in accessories at Christian Dior, Tom Ford, Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Céline.

Masahiko Uotani to Become President of Shiseido
Masahiko Uotani was announced as the incoming chief executive and president of Japanese beauty company Shiseido. Uotani will take up the post on April 1st and aims to expand Shiseido internationally, through expansion and acquisitions. "We're going to be working where we have strength, where we have weakness, where we have what you call white space. That's going to lead us to think about two options: One is we're going to build a business from scratch by ourselves, or we're going to be aggressively looking at acquisition opportunities," the former Coca-Cola chief told press.
