Gucci Autumn/Winter 2014
Frida Gianinni presented a refined, covetable and very wearable take on authentic Sixties silhouettes. The collection of a-line minidresses, cropped coats and capri pants were perhaps too evocative of the Courrèges and Balenciaga originals to feel truly current, but were both desirable and practical — a potent mix. Like the new mother herself, the Gucci woman has left the party and entered a new stage of womanhood. See the show here.
